John Talley

John has been a lifelong Blount County resident, graduating from Maryville High School in 1983. Early on, he enjoyed a career in the golf industry. He entered into the PGA apprentice program, completed PGA Business Schools I and II, and then served as the PGA Head Professional at Wallace Hills Golf Course. At Wallace Hills, he was on staff for the Pro Group (Arnold Palmer and Ben Hogan).

For the next few years, John spent time managing a family-owned restaurant and catering business. In 2004, when the decision was made to sell the business, he obtained his real estate license and went to work with his brother, David Talley, performing duties primarily as a Buyer’s Agent. In 2008, John became a licensed Tennessee home inspector and assisted many homebuyers through the buying process. After careful consideration, he decided to return to the real estate business in 2014.

John and his wife are the proud parents of five children. When not working, he spends time supporting charities that focus on foster care and newborns, especially those dealing with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS).
