John was extremely kind, patient, and helpful throughout the whole process. He answered all of our questions! He was resourceful and was constantly checking in to ensure I had received my lease and everything was moving in a timely manner. Even a few weeks after I moved in, he checked in. I met John 7 years ago when I moved to NYC and was looking for a rental apartment. He showed me a few places but I found something through a friend. He was great about it.

When I was looking to purchase an apartment, I thought of him because:

1. Easy going and patient
2. A lot of knowledge about the various aspects of real estate in NYC
3. Extremely fast communication/response time

We saw a lot of apartments together and he never put any sort of pressure to buy something that I wasn't 100% sure about.

Overall great and useful guy. Would work with him again for any real estate needs that I would have and recommend to others.

John did great job selling our apartment in a very down market. He was definitely the right broker for our needs; tenacious, hosting weekly showings while always keeping the communication stream going as we were in a different town three hours away. He was courteous until the very end of the process and took away a lot of headaches. Even up to the closing when we realized that we had left the keys in our office, John had an extra set of keys and went with us back into the city to get the extras to deliver to the new owner. Top notch broker, and I highly recommend him.

Trying to selling a co-op in New York brings a unique set of challenges, particularly when you live in Chicago. We needed a proxy in the city, not just someone to find us a suitable buyer, but someone who knew the game and could get stuff done. John did a terrific job for us. He was very hands hands on, on top of every detail, overseeing the work needed to get our place prepped for sale. Great communication and so much hustle. Literally sprinted to meet the Con Ed guy on closing day.

At every showing/open house he would make sure to look for red flags like foundation damage. Being a first time home buyer, John was extremely patient, he educated me on the whole buying process, and hand held me all the way to closing.
