John moved to Nashville in 2016 as a professional drummer, touring the country before settling down with his wife, Alex. When they bought their first home, John witnessed firsthand how the industry could be dismissive and intimidating—especially to his wife, who was the reason they could afford the house. That experience inspired him to get his real estate license in 2018 and create a space where everyone feels heard, respected, and empowered. In 2021, he founded Muttz Realty to modernize the industry with compassion, transparency, and a commitment to giving back to local rescues and organizations that celebrate diversity.
John works with all types of buyers and sellers across Middle Tennessee, with deep roots in East Nashville, Donelson, Madison, Germantown, The Nations, Goodlettsville, Hermitage, Mt. Juliet, and Crieve Hall. He's closed over 80 homes and believes real estate should be a path to generational wealth for everyone.
