Johnny Rowell

A lifelong resident of Georgetown County, Johnny returned home after receiving a BA degree from Wofford College to assume responsibility for the family hardware business established in 1922 by his grandfather. After twenty-five years Johnny retired and began a second career in Real Estate with Pawleys Island Realty. Graduating from the Real Estate Institute and establishing himself as a multi-million dollar sales agent over the years, Johnny is committed to providing the professional service that his clients not only expect but deserve. Residing in the Waccamaw Neck, Nancy and Johnny enjoy the lifestyle and all the amenities such as golf, tennis, boating, fishing and long walks with their Springer Spaniel “Zack”.

Johnny has always been involved in community activities and civic organizations. He has served in the National Guard and on the following: Chairman of the Board for Trinity United Methodist Church, the Georgetown County Board of Education, the Georgetown County Race Relations Council, the Georgetown County Education Foundation Board, Wofford College interview committee for Wofford Scholars, Board of Directors of Tara Hall Home For Boys. Johnny has served in the following clubs, Lions, Rotary, High School Booster, Methodist Men and Board of Governors for DeBordieu Colony. Johnny’s favorite hobbies are “Grandchildren, Golf and more Golf!!!!
