Joi Banks-Schmidt

Joi has been passionately serving buyers and sellers in Albuquerque and the surrounding area since 1993. Having earned a number of awards for sales volume, performance and other important metrics, Joi’s greatest reward comes from helping each client achieve their real estate goals.

Joi’s career allows her to experience children smiling as they explore their new homes, share in the relief and happiness of a seller who’s home has finally sold, and provide peace of mind to clients as she leverages her vast experience to help them navigate the growing complexities of writing the contract, inspections, negotiations, financing all other aspects to get the best deal when buying and selling real estate.

Joi is a certified Coldwell Banker Relocation and Previews Specialist. As a longtime resident of the High Desert Community, she is intimately familiar with the unique features of each neighborhood in that area. Joi’s extensive work over the last 24 years in the surrounding Albuquerque area has afforded her a good working knowledge of these areas as well.

Joi is very happily married to her husband who is a property manager / general contractor. She is a blessed mother to three children. When she is not working hard for her clients, Joi enjoys spending time with her family both indoors and out. She also shares a deep and intimate relationship with God. Joi’s husband had a cherished Golden Retriever named Cheddar when they married. Cheddar was followed by Brie and now they have Blue (it's been a cheese thing). Blue has a best friend named Tootsi, who is the family cat.
