Jolan Bastien, a Pittsburgh native, and proud graduate of Morgan State University in Baltimore, began her real estate career in 2003. Since then, she has helped numerous buyers and sellers in Howard, Montgomery, Prince Georges and Baltimore Counties and Baltimore City buy and sell all manner of homes from condos to grand estates.
Boasting extensive experience with first time and experienced home buyers and sellers and investors, and a certification from the Graduate Realtor Institute, Jolan prides herself on educating her clients about the many steps of the buying and selling processes. But she also knows the importance of taking the time to learn from her clients their true wants and needs – not only in a home, but in the real estate transaction. Jolan is then able to tailor each transaction to her clients’ respective needs, and to do everything in her power to ensure a seamless transaction.
Providing valuable service to her clients is Jolan’s primary goal. She knows that both the selling and buying processes are not only stressful, but are fraught with potential pitfalls. Jolan makes it her priority to anticipate issues and address them before they can arise or sabotage a transaction.
Buyers and Sellers today have an abundance of information at their fingertips with the plethora of real estate-related Web sites and apps. What Jolan provides for her clients is a pathway through the noise. Jolan is gives her clients the tools they need for their specific transaction, leaving unsubstantiated, flimsy, and outright wrong information out of the way and thus providing a clear and direct route to her clients’ goals.
Jolan is currently a resident of Howard County, where her children attended public school and have all gone on to pursue college degrees. In her spare time, Jolan loves to read fiction and to write screenplays for television and film. She currently has several projects in various stages of development and is working on producing and directing short films she has written for local and national film festivals.
