Jolene Butterworth

Licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina, Jolene began her real estate career in 2000. Prior to that, Jo was a high school teacher, elementary school principal, college English professor, and co-founder of Brevard Academy, a North Carolina Public Charter School. During the eighties, she lived in Freeport, Grand Bahama, where she wrote historical romances, romantic suspense, and mainstream novels. Jo is a native Carolinian and currently lives in Tega Cay with her husband and yellow lab. She absolutely loves being a realtor and navigating folks through the confusing maze of home buying and selling. Her many years of experience give invaluable insight into ways of circumventing potential problems before they occur. She is totally committed to clients and always strives to obtain for them the absolute best price and terms with minimal stress and anxiety. To that end, Jo personally remains in control of the transaction from start to finish…from house hunting to contract to close. She will never relinquish that responsibility to an assistant. She takes enormous pride in her commitment to excellence in her profession and has served on the Professional Standards Committee and the Grievance Board for the Charlotte Regional Realtors Association. For two decades, Jo has been one of Helen Adams Realty's premier agents. In her free time, Jo enjoys playing tennis, horseback riding, beach walking, and growing orchids.
