Well, thanks for stumbling onto this page! My name is Jon Schaefer, a Denver real estate agent with Thrive Real Estate Group. I got into this business for one simple reason: to help make one of the most complicated and stressful processes someone can go through, buying or selling a home in Denver, as simple and clear as possible.
After my years in the streaming, acting, and modeling world (we can chat about how you’ve probably seen me before), I realized what I really enjoyed most was talking with people. I created a weekly mental health segment on my stream so I could learn more about people, work to better understand them, and ask questions that allowed them to better understand themselves. That curiosity only grew from there, as I became certified as a mediator and relationship coach before jumping into real estate. Random, right? Not really. Nobody likes a "pushy" realtor, and the goal of a mediator is the exact opposite of pushy. The goal is to educate and inform you on all of your potential options, and their risks and benefits, so that you are able to make the best choice for yourself. Yes, even if that means you don't buy or sell right now.
It's that level of care and commitment that allowed me to help 59+ buyers and sellers move in and out of homes in just over my first 2 years, with clients saving an average of $35,000+ per transaction. When I'm not working, you'll probably find me training in Brazilian jiu jitsu (brown belt, if that matters), working out, making real estate videos, or exploring some of the more hidden spots around Denver with my lovely lady. While we don't have kids, we do find ourselves wrangling our 3 cats: Luna, Wonder Bread, and Puppies, and 1 dog: George.
