I had such a wonderful experience working with Jon Severson and his assistant. Jon was relatable, easy to talk to, and super responsive via text/email/phone calls. He made buying a house for the very first time much easier than I was expecting it to be, and actually kind of fun! I especially appreciate the fact that he did not pressure us into buying when we weren't ready, and didn't require us to even sign a contract with him until we were sure we wanted to start making offers. He also helped us find a great lender. Jon will give you his honest opinion on a property if you ask him, and he will point out things that need work or the disadvantages too. He was also great at explaining and simplifying complicated-sounding terminology throughout the whole process.

Jon went above and beyond to meet me and my fiance last-minute for showings or open-houses, as well as scheduling things in evenings and weekends as needed with my work hours. When my wife and I were looking to sell our home, we wanted to make sure we used a smart, experienced, professional - especially considering it was our first time selling. Of the many realtors we connected with, our relatives were quick to refer Jon Severson and Luke Hanson based on the experience they had selling and buying their new home in May of 2015. When meeting Jon Severson for the first time we could immediately tell it was going to be a great experience. Jon was very friendly, professional, and refreshingly knowledgeable of the industry. Jon initially provided a great overview of the selling/buying process, set goals by establishing a timeline, and detailed the expectations of a buyer/seller's market. He was realistic and honest with what my husband and I needed to get done if we wanted to ensure our house was listed and sold in just a couple of months time. Anything and everything from thoroughly reviewing and helping to complete important paperwork, to home staging and photography, Jon was the go to guy we could trust. Jon did an excellent job helping make recommendations for details my husband and I were not as familiar with (i.e. what competitive listing amounts were, negotiation tactics, when to complete each step of the selling process) and anything else we sought his expertise on. One huge benefit to having Jon Severson as our realtor was that he was extremely reliable. After meeting with Jon, from Hanson Severson Realty Group, my husband and I instantly knew that working with them would result in finding our next perfect home. Jon took the time to understand our needs and pushed us to consider new ideas. We looked at a lot of homes and from start to finish Jon endlessly worked with us to creatively meet all of our needs while also staying within our budget. In addition to the level of support Jon provided to us during the home buying process, we were specifically thankful for the quality of relationships that Jon has built with industry partners. Jon was able to introduced us to two new lenders each of which provided us with new financing options that we were not made aware of in the past. Last but not least, we wouldn't have felt so comfortable without the impressive communication style from Jon and all of Hanson Severson Realty Group. Communication was always prompt and more importantly honest.

We've already shared, and will continue to do so, our positive experience with our friends and family.

Jon Severson went above and beyond all of my expectations from the first phone call after receiving my info on Zillow, to a wonderful gift after closing. A true professional in every sense of the word. It was the personal aspect that really carried me through the very stressful ordeal of finding a property, negotiating the selling price and then going through the financing which was the worst part of it all, Jon was there through it all, guiding me step by step and I really appreciated that. I would and will definitely recommend the Hanson Severson Realty group to anyone looking for there next home!!!

My husband and I worked with Jon over the course of a few months in order to find and purchase our first home! We had a deadline and given the tough market conditions, were under a lot of pressure to find a house! Jon was absolutely fantastic!! His commitment to his clients is unmatched. He was always available to answer questions or jump to a last minute showing. Coming into the housing market as a first time home buyer, I had absolutely no sense of direction on where to start. Not only was I in the market for a home, I was also in the market for a realtor. I decided to take a shot with HansonSeversonRealty Group and going forward I will not use anyone else. It only took one sit down with Jon and Luke to not only figure they were hard-working but also passionate about their profession. During that sit down we figured out the ground work (price range, location, etc.) and after that they started working endlessly around the clock. Not only did they answer every question I sent their way, they answered them in an almost instantaneous manner. After walking through a few homes with Jon, he was really able to get a perception of what I was looking for. I woke up one morning to an email from him saying he thought he found me the "one" and believe it or not, he wasn't lying! He scheduled a walk-through that same day and I put in an offer that night. Now here I am typing my review from the comfort of my NEW home. I highly recommend SeversonHansonRealty Group and owe them a HUGE thank you for their services and making my first time home buying experience as least stressful as possible!
