Couldn't have asked for a better guide through the home-buying process. As a first time buyer, I was very apprehensive about purchasing my first home. Jonathan made everything easy - his industry connections made every process of home buying painless. He helped arrange my loan, my home inspection, repairs, and buyer negotiations, and quickly answered my phone calls and texts. Working with JB was a delight from the beginning of our home search to closing on the perfect property! He was always attentive, accommodating, and thoughtful while helping us research neighborhoods and weighing the pros and cons of of what spoke to us about each place. Once we decided to make an offer, JB worked expeditiously to draft the paperwork and help manage our expectations for the process...no small task for a first time home buyer! I really cannot say enough good things about him! He navigated concerns with timing, moving, repair work, and even suggested a great mortgage broker to secure our loan. 5-stars for this realtor who truly made a stressful process so pleasant and seamless!

Jonathan was the absolute dream when it came to navigating the DC real estate market as a first-time homebuyer. When we first met, he took the time to learn the criteria important to me and kept that central in all the properties we looked at. He picked up things that I liked and didn't like in properties we saw and kept that in mind for future visits. It never felt like a waste of time seeing a property with him.
I was also extremely torn between a single-family row home, which was what I originally had in mind, and a condo. He took the time to walk through the pros and cons with me. In the end, I ended up going with a condo - largely in part of Jonathan really listening to the parts of a row home that I liked and finding a condo that had those aspects.
When it came down to the process of buying a home, he was great at walking me through the necessary steps and made sure I understood everything that was to come.
During the actual negotiation process, he was expert in getting the right price for the property while also dealing with a competitive back and forth with another buyer.
Since my property was new construction, he was extremely responsive with questions I had and provided transparency between me and the developers as the property was completed - which spanned across almost four months.
Post-close, Jonathan really made sure I was comfortably moved into the house.
For anyone looking to buy, especially in Eckington, I would highly recommend working with Jonathan. He checks all of the boxes with ease - and then goes above and beyond!

I can't recommend Jonathan strongly enough if you are looking for a realtor in the DMV area. He helped my husband and I purchase our first home. Jonathan was incredibly responsive and very patient. We looked at a lot of houses but never felt pressured to make a decision. Above all, we appreciated his honesty. We could be confident that he would always tell us his honest opinion and would act in our best interest even if it meant moving on to another house or condo. Jonathan also has great connections in the area, including professional relationships with wonderful home inspectors, listing agents, and mortgage consultants. We never once felt like we were having to wade through this home-buying experience alone, and we are so thankful to have been able to work with Jonathan; he’s the best and comes highly recommended.

Jon was the realtor I worked with for my first big move out of my home state of Florida all the way to Washington, D.C. What I expected to be a daunting process (I was apartment hunting virtually!) was actually the easiest as Jon immediately offered a FaceTime tour, took photos of the space, and answered any of the many questions we had. He was professional, patient, responsive, and always followed up quickly. I noticed he seemed to have a good working relationship with the owners I was renting from, which really made me less anxious to take the big risk of signing a lease on an apartment I've never visited in person. I trusted Jon and the big risk paid off - we absolutely love our apartment and am certain we got the best deal for a spacious 1BR apartment in our area. I absolutely highly recommend Jon & will likely be giving him a call if I plan to move again in the future!
