Jon Mattson was born in Palm Springs California and grew up in a nearby small desert town named Yucca Valley. He moved to San Diego in 1998 after his Father was offered a teaching position. Jon resided in Oceanside with his family and upon graduating high school, realized he wanted a fulfilling career helping others. In 2007 Jon applied with the California Highway Patrol and started the Academy in June 2009. Upon leaving the Academy the following November, Jon was assigned to the Department's communications center in San Diego. Jon is committed to serving the public and selflessly helping others daily.
In October 2010, Jon purchased his first home in Oceanside. He considered it a positive experience and kept a close eye on the market. In 2012 he decided to further his interest in the industry and continue his service to the public and Jon ascertained his real estate license.
Jon prides himself on maintaining the highest levels of loyalty, honesty, character, and integrity; coincidentally a cornerstone belief of both the CHP and Keller Williams.
Being that both of Jon’s parents are teachers, our cities educators along with other public safety servants, hold a special place in his heart. He is active with the CHP 11-99 Foundation, C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors), and Volunteer San Diego.
