About Jonathan
The two pieces of advice for real estate everyone hears are "location, location, location" and "know somebody." Jon has lived or worked in every one of Tidewater's 7 cities, so he knows all the locations and knows a lot of somebodies. Jon wants to get to know you too so he can help you with all your real estate needs but first you can get to know a little about him
Jonathan was born and raised in Norfolk and graduated from Granby High and Old Dominion University. He has over 15 years of experience in customer service that included experience in management and negotiation. The trifecta of a promotion, new orders for his wife (naval officer), and the allure of the capital pulled him away to northern Virginia/DC for a few years but when it was time to settle down and start a family coming back down home was the only option. After a short time off for his first born Jon turned his attention back to his career and real estate and has not looked back yet.
After being personally involved in multiple real estate transactions as a customer, Jon understood the value an agent can bring to a client and how positively they can influence the transaction experience. He wanted to be this positive influence and quickly found he had a passion for helping people find houses to turn into homes. Jon believes trust is earned and it is his job to provide value to his client if he wants their trust.
For most people buying property is the single largest purchase they will make in their lifetime and the cornerstone for their family’s wealth building. Jon treats each transaction with the care and detail he would expect if it was his own family.
