About Joseph

A Midwesterner who chased the muse to Los Angeles, Jay Kilgore quickly realized he had missed the mark by about 15 miles when he found love on a mountaintop in Topanga. Fast forward 10 years and he is now a proud local living on that same mountain that beguiled him so long ago. In the intervening years he and his life partner (local legend Lexi Pearl) obtained their first home in mid-city LA, refinanced, placed a renter, sold, and traded up in extremely competitive markets, all while Jay held down two jobs in the high-end hospitality industry of Beverly Hills. He prides himself on knowing what it takes to earn your business, negotiate fiercely on your behalf, and provide the lasting welcome Topanga has shown him. If you cannot find him in the office or his home in Fernwood, look for him atop Eagle Rock as the sun sets, or spending quality time with the frogs and newts of Hondo Canyon.
