About Joseph

Alex Smallwood is a born and raised Lexingtonian. After graduating from the Spanish Immersion Program at Bryan Station he attended Hanover College to study Business and Spanish. There he was a member of the baseball team and Phi Gamma Delta. Alex has held leadership positions and been involved in volunteering around the Bluegrass for over a decade. He currently serves on the board for LexGather and as a Graduate Trustee for the University of Kentucky chapter of Phi Gamma Delta. Alex is enthusiastic about Lexington and the Bluegrass region because both sets of grandparents moved here for the opportunity to provide a better life for their families.
