About Joseph

Joe is a native of the Washington DC area with three children all born in different cities across the country! Like most people who experience the Outer Banks, he fell in love with the beauty of the area and was determined to call it home. Being a man of action, he made his dream a reality over ten years ago and is ready to help you do the same! Be it a year-round home, second home, vacation rental, business or commercial property, Joe has the experience to help make your OBX dreams a reality!

Joe grew up in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC. He attended T.S. Wootton H.S. and Mount Saint Mary’s University where he earned dual bachelor’s degrees in accounting and Economics. He furthered his studies and obtained a Master of Science degree from The American University in Washington DC. Joe started his career in public accounting as a CPA and progressed to controller and CFO positions in industry. Realizing his personality was not as your typical bean counter, Joe’s career migrated to consulting were he ultimately enjoyed his tenure as a Regional General Manager for a business and technology consulting firm in charge of sales and delivery. With the technology bust, Joe took the opportunity to move to the Outer Banks and put his entrepreneurial spirit to work by purchasing an underperforming business. Joe quickly and successfully grew the business and ultimately expanded to become a multi-unit owner. Enjoying his success as a residential and commercial real estate investor and developer, Joe decided to put his work ethic, people, and property talents to use for others by affiliating with Sun Realty as an Associate Broker and Realtor.
