As Director, Multifamily Investments, Josh specializes in the sale of multifamily investment properties and
development sites throughout the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area for both private and institutional clients. As
co-founder of the Highlight Real Estate Group, Josh has closed in excess of 1,280 multifamily units, 100,000
square feet of land for development and $315,000,000 of sale value for his clients.
Josh has established strong bonds with his clients by consistently acting as their trusted advisor. He brings
over 20 years of real estate brokerage, acquisitions and asset management expertise to the team. His expe -
rience includes complex financial analysis, due diligence and joint venture structuring for all t ypes of real
estate.
Most recently, Josh was a Managing Director at Transwestern, specializing in sourcing and closing multifamily and land sales transactions throughout the Los Angeles metro. Previously, he served as director of asset management for Federal Realty Investment Trust’s 1.1 million-square-foot shopping center and mixed-use portfolio in Southern California. Josh spent seven years at the Watt Companies working on acquisitions, where he sourced and underwrote over $900M of value-add and core plus retail and multifamily acquisition opportunities. He began his career as a senior associate with Deloitte’s financial advisory services group, where he learned the fundamentals of commercial real estate valuation and gained valuable experience working in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Josh is an active member of the Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles, where he serves on the Products and Services Council, as well as the UCLA Ziman Real Estate Alumni Group.
Josh holds dual bachelor’s degrees in economics and history from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of California.
