My experience with Simpson Realty Group was ridiculously great and it was a smooth ride because of the realtor Josh Booterbaugh, the man was simply amazing! His work ethic was First Class and was just very attentive and seemed like a magician at times! Every step of the way he was there when needed. Considering the current climate, finding a house was truly a battle, a battle that was much worth it in the end!

Thank you all so much, you all exceeded all expectations! Again, Josh B was a true professional- I highly recommend!

Josh Simpson was hands-on, helpful, patient, quick to get us in the houses we were interested in and encouraging. He helped us navigate the fast-paced market and was quick to get things going when we were ready to make an offer. He was very practical and gave us helpful advice when we asked for it. He was very knowledgeable about the market and homes, as well. This was our second home-buying experience, but our first in RVA and both my husband and I felt more confident working with Josh throughout the entire process than we did during our first experience. I was looking for a place to rent around Richmond, VA, and I came across this realty group's website to find some rentals. And somehow I found some rental properties through their advanced search which was actually not under this group. But Josh Booterbaugh went above and beyond, even late at night, to search more about these rentals for me and who I can contact instead. I was so much in awe by his kindness since he didn't have to help me out. Sorry to exaggerate but he's a literal angel. Thanks again Josh!!

I couldn’t ask for a better experience as Josh B delivered top notch service. He sought out multiple options that fell in the criteria of what I was looking for in a home. Josh always made himself readily available throughout the day to answer any questions I had, or meet for a showing. Due to the market being a bit difficult to buy in, Josh remained positive and assured us everyday that our perfect home was right around the corner. I dreaded home buying, but needed to upgrade the house we had. I fell into Simpson Realty group by chance. I had looked at a house and met our agent Tyler who was with a different group, but was transitioning to Hometown Realty. I was not impressed with some of the other agents we had interacted with, so we followed Tyler where he went. Tyler was very patient and let us look at so many houses. I never had to wait for answers to any of my questions or to go to a showing, we felt like we were the only clients, but I'm sure we were not. The only thing I didn't like, but was no fault of the realty company, was that to get the house I had in my dreams, I had to go to the very top of my budget.................so instead of spending only a little of my $$$ I had to spend lots of $$$$$$$. I also dreaded buying a house because I was afraid we'd put in a contract that would fall through, and that did happen to us, but Simpson Realty and Tyler knew how to handle it, and helped us navigate the confusing world of homebuying!

I highly recommend Josh. I bought my house from Josh 11 years ago. He was so professional. I was in no rush to buy a house, I wanted to make sure I got the right house for me and my girls. I had a agent who wanted me to buy houses she thought were right. I left her and found a new agent. Needless to say she wasn't involved. I was out looking and called on a house and Josh answered the phone. He made time to show me the house. I loved the house! However during negotiations another house landed on the market and Josh made arrangements and when we walked in the door I told him this is it. Josh was immediately terminated negotiations with the first house and started my house. In less then 2 months I was moving in. I could never thank Josh enough for his patience. He was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend him and his team to anyone.

I had a great experience working with Josh a couple years ago when I moved to Richmond from Michigan. He went out of his way to work with my cousins who were local to show them houses on my behalf before I was in town and then answered my endless questions at all hours of the day after I was in town. We decided to buy during arguably one of the hardest markets to date (not sure why :)). Not to mention, we were also relocating from another city! Josh made every effort to see every home that we asked him to see and he was great at providing his professional, but honest opinion on the current state of the homes he saw on our behalf when we couldn't be there. Given how tough it was, we lost our first several homes, but Josh was great at helping us understand why, what we could do differently next time, and also do so while managing to help us continue feel confident that the next one would be the one. We're in the home of our dreams and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Our Realtor was Ernie Chamberlain and he was amazing! He helped us along the way and showed us some houses we never thought we'd like. The office is also really nice, everyone there is very friendly, and they have good spaces for you to sit down and talk to your realtor in.
