Joshua Baumgardner

A Vice President with TTR Sotheby’s International Realty, Joshua grew up with family roots in both property management and construction, and was destined for a life in the real estate industry. After going to school for classical voice, Joshua spent the first years of his career as a professional opera singer, and the owner of his own private voice studio. It did not take Joshua long before he began to feel the undeniable yearning to return to his roots of real estate. Paired with his desire to become a more integral member of his local community, Joshua committed himself to a full-time career in the industry he grew up loving so dearly.

Each day in real estate brings its own set of joys and challenges, yet the resulting need to constantly change and adapt strategies is where Joshua thrives. Joshua works closely with his Alliance Group team members to assist each client and their unique situations. The team’s expertise spans every facet of the industry from new construction and resales to investment properties and commercial deals. Joshua's team is one of the top-producing groups in the DC Metropolitan area with over $750 million ins sales experience, and is a multi-year recipient of the Best of Washington and Best of Arlington awards.

With an unrelenting ambition to surpass the expectations of each client, Joshua is committed to making the buying and selling process as smooth as possible. His eye for detail, ease of communication, and team support allows him to work with clients from a myriad of experiences and cultures, while his negotiation skills and marketing techniques are second to none.

Joshua lives in the Shaw neighborhood, and can often be found brunching along 16th Street, making sandwiches for our less fortunate neighbors at Foundry United Methodist Church, or spending a Saturday evening taking in a new opera at The Kennedy Center. Joshua considers the Washington DC region to be a multi-cultural gem of America and considers it a privilege to call such a diverse and energetic city his home.

Joshua is a graduate of James Madison University (B.M.), and Florida State University (M.M.), and is a member of the National Association of Realtors, The Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, and is a founding member and DC chapter Vice President of the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance.
