I worked with Josh Dockter this month to find my new place, and he was terrific. Super professional, very thorough, gave us all the guidance we needed to navigate the NYC rental market. In the end we found a place we’re super happy with at a price comfortably in budget.

Josh joined us for every unit tour, documented everything for us, and made sure we had all of the info we needed to make comparisons and decide.

He’s also super pleasant to work with. Can’t recommend him enough.

Josh was great! He was super knowledgeable and helped us in our search for our first NY apartment. He helped us through every step of the process- from familiarizing ourselves with the neighborhoods to making sure our application went smoothly and was accepted. He was great at finding outstanding places within our really specific parameters and I couldn't recommend him more! All in all, our search for an apartment with a July 1st start date (which is nearly impossible) took two days total and ended up feeling effortless with his assistance. I've already referred multiple friends to his services and would absolutely hire Josh again!

I can’t say enough good things about Josh Dockter! He helped me find my last two apartments in the NYC area, and he’s the best. As a 23-year-old trying to figure out the NYC rental scene, Josh was like a guiding light! He’s super knowledgeable and very patient.
Josh really took the time to understand what I was looking for. He doesn’t just show me random places; he finds apartments that are perfect for me and within my budget. The whole process with him was smooth and stress-free!

Working with Josh was easy, fun, and very efficient. Josh fully understood what we were looking for and showed us some amazing and well priced apartments. He packed an entire day full of apartment showings and even somehow managed to squeeze in a mini food tour of the various neighborhoods. In the end, he helped us navigate the application process and liaised with the management company to get our lease signed and move in date finalized. I’ll definitely be texting him when I need another apartment!

My roommate and I were both living out of state and busy at work but Josh made the whole process easy and set up all our tours for us and guided us around the city to them all. We found a dream apartment on the first day of touring. Josh even sat with us the next day in the office to help us apply for the apartment and answered all our questions. Josh helped me move into the city from outside the state. I had a tight two day window to look at properties and wee toured 20+ spots. When I landed on my favorite, Josh made sure that I got it. He stayed in constant contact with me and the management company, even helped to fill out my application while I was standing in the security line at the airport.

Josh will absolutely do what it takes to make his clients happy and I can't recommend him enough!

If you're looking to move to NYC, I cannot recommend Josh enough. My wife and I were in the city for a very limited time, and had just 2 days with Josh to find an apartment. Using our preferences in advance, Josh put together a strategy and was able to show us many units which could have worked for us. Shortly after the two days of showings, my wife and I had signed a lease on a new home. It wouldn't have been possible without Josh's hard work, hustle and insight. Call him.

We are glad we called his services to look for an appartement. Joshua has been fully dedicated to work on our specific case (as we moved from France to NYC with our son, no credit score, no guarantor, we had to find an apartment in a very short period of time).
He had been patient, had taken time to build a true relationship and provided us with a clear strategy adapted to our situation. He had meticulously prepared our meetings.
