About Joshua
The most important part of Joshua's life is his beautiful family. His most prized role is being the husband of his bride of 13 years, Leslie, and father to their three little girls: Piper, Ruby, and Nora. He grew up in Central Pennsylvania, where he was taught that honesty, hard work, and a handshake are three things everyone should believe in. When he is not working, his passions are soccer, traveling, and trying new hobbies or tackling new adventures. Most recently sailing and learning to braid girls’ hair so it looks like Elsa.
Professionally, Joshua believes what sets him apart from the average real estate agent is his background, his responsiveness, and his integrity. He has a meticulous desire for excellence in all areas of his life, which is what lead him to find immediate success as a realtor and subsequently awarded the “Rookie of the Year” award by Greenridge Realty in 2015. In 2016-2020, he was in the top 30 real estate agents of the entire company and in the top 3 percent of realtors in all of West Michigan. Prior to his career in real estate, his background is in ministry. Joshua spent 10 years as a youth pastor and international humanitarian worker. While working overseas, he deepened his understanding of human nature while engaging in humanitarian work, aiding with refugees, teaching English, and immersing himself in the local language and culture. Prior to that, he spent over ten years serving in local churches, and considered a profession of caring for, listening to, and helping to meet people’s needs to be one of the greatest honors of his life. Serving others and looking out for their best interests is a foundational part of who he is and is something that he has carried into his real estate career. Personally, Joshua prides himself on being a skillful, fair negotiator and an honest business person. His integrity means more to him than any transaction, and win-win scenarios are always his goal. He has found that often he can make a 3-5 percent difference in buying or selling a house. His highest priority is looking out for and taking care of clients and their family. Selling and buying a home can be a stressful process and is one of the largest financial transactions clients will make. He takes this very seriously, and work hard to ensure the process smooth, stress-free, and as financially advantageous for clients as possible.
