Native Brooklynite, Josiane Lysius has such a passion for real estate that she chose it as a career straight out of law school and became an investor in several New York properties. As a real estate attorney then a real estate broker, she enjoys educating and empowering clients in what can often be a complex and overwhelming process. She has several years of experience as a Real Estate Attorney representing buyers, sellers, lenders, and title companies. She also worked as an Attorney-Advisor for the Office of General Counsel at HUD writing federal real estate and housing regulations and crafting national policy; she brings diverse experience and expertise to all facets of your real estate endeavor.

Partnering with her husband Joseph Dima, The Dima Lysius Team specializes in the purchase and sale of townhouses, condos, coops, and development sites throughout New York City. They offer clients a wealth of experience, expertise, knowledge, and a vast network of referrals when it comes to working with the most reliable service professionals to make buying or selling easy and efficient. They pride themselves on providing the highest level of service to help meet their client’s goals.

Josiane received her BA in from SUNY Albany, and her Juris Doctorate from The George Washington University Law School. She also studied International Human Rights Law at The University of Oxford in England. She currently lives in Brownstone Brooklyn with her husband Joseph and two young kiddos Joslyn and Joseph II.

In addition to working with clients, Josiane is passionate about giving back to the communities that they live in and serve. Joe and Josie Show Love the Brooklyn Way by supporting through sponsorships, fundraising and volunteering. The focus of their philanthropy is to create educational equity by supporting and elevating our public schools. Josiane also runs a charity that she and Joseph started in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake, which sends impoverished children to school in Haiti, where her family hails from.
