JP went above and beyond when we started looking for house in Colorado. We are very interested in this one house in Penrose but we're still in AZ. JP went and drove to the property to do a virtual viewing. JP is the only realtor I know that will never let your calls unanswered. Included Nick in the pack they're definitely a Power duo. Will definitely use them again for our future real estate needs. And definitely will recommend to any one.

We had such a great experience with J.P. and team! From the first time we met J.P., we knew we made the right choice. His confidence and expertise put us at ease during such a challenging time. J.P. is an excellent communicator. His marketing plan was on point. Selling our home during the holidays could’ve/should’ve posed more challenges than it did. Because we priced it right and had the best realtor in the state handling the sale, the challenges were minimal and we easily overcame them. If we had 100 houses to sell, we’d have J.P. list all of them.

JP did an amazing job helping us sell our house. From the get go, he was honest, up front with us, confident and a pleasure to work with, making us feel like we were in good hands! He got us top dollar for our house (1950s house on a busy street) and did so quickly. He told us what we needed to fix (and what we did not need to fix), how to stage the house, pulled out all the stops in marketing, and kept our expectations reasonable with the changing market (July / August 2022). You cannot go wrong with JP as your agent, he has the experience, knowledge, and passion to handle any situation!

Our offer was quickly accepted with excellent terms. Negotiations for repairs were a breeze. Nick kept us updated every step of the same - with weekly updates on deadlines and same-day updates on inspection results. JP provided excellent advice on negotiations, neighborhoods, and more.

Working with JP and his admin team, Nick, was a wonderful experience for us as 2nd time home buyers. This was our 3rd time working with Berkshire Hathaway, first time working with JP, and our expectations were once again amazed with this wonderful agency.

We were fortunate in finding our home relatively quick, as a gem popped up on the market during the home buying/selling craze. He went to work right away and got us a showing within 24 hours. He worked hard with the sellers agent and even saved us 10K!!

He and his team worked diligently throughout the home buying process to ensure everything was handled and on schedule. He provided wonderful guidance and recommendations from inspectors to carpet cleaners and worked hard to ensure all was taken care of.

We plan to live in this newly purchased home and property forever. But if the time every comes to sell or buy, we don't question who we'll be working with.

Where do I begin? My husband’s job was being transferred to Arizona with less than 30 days notice. We bought our house 14 years ago with the plan of making our own changes to make it our forever home. So, right after we had mostly completely our journey, we were suddenly moving out of the home we’d raised our family in. Our youngest of our 4 children, just graduated 3 weeks ago. We had been experiencing trouble with purchasing a home in the competitive Arizona market and we were putting on the market our home that we loved, we’d changed, and built so many family memories in. How was anyone going to come along and love it as much as we did? How was anyone going to know it’s worth? Especially from our point of view? We wanted to maximize our profits for all our sweat equity and find a buyer that would love our home as much as we did.
After interviewing several realtors, we found The One, JP Speers. He understood our love for our home but was still directly honest about the current state of the home market in Colorado Springs, interest rates, buyers’ expectations. At first, I didn’t want to hear it. I knew what I wanted to sell our home for and couldn’t understand why he wasn’t advising the same strategy. But, his vast local knowledge and longstanding stellar reputation convinced me. Ok, we’ll try it his way and start at a much lower asking price than I wanted to end up with. His team, took amazing photos of our home to showcase it at its best and draw buyers in. Heck, I fell in love with my house all over again after seeing the pics. To my surprise, the potential buyers responded in kind. We had over 14 offers in the 10 days it was on the market, ALL over asking price. Not only did we get a much higher price than we expected, we got a back up offer for the same price just in case our initial buyers had a change of heart. To say that I trust and would recommend JP and his team to my friends and family would be an understatement. I want him to be licensed where we live now, so that he could be on call to sell any future houses we have. We have bought and sold many houses over the years but I have NEVER had a realtor fight for me like I was one of his friends and family. I’d be happy to talk with anyone that wasn’t sure about JP. I wish there were more people like him.
