Julie ODell has been in the retail and commercial real estate business for most of her professional career. Graduating from Miami Southridge Senior High, Julie went on to get her BA from Florida International University. Later during her stay in New York, she also attended NYU, where she honed internet marketing skills. Julie’s retail experience spanned 16 years, working with tenants such as Barnes & Noble, Books A Million, Sports Authority, TransWorld Entertainment and several internet start-up companies.
In 2003, Julie returned to Miami working for a well-known commercial real estate firm, which then led in rapid succession to Director of Marketing positions for condominium developments with Paramount, Hyperion and a Related Group subsidiary, TRG.
The volatility of the Miami real estate market—the boom and bust of it—got Julie thinking about capitalizing on her own innate drive and energy, rather than just expending it project-by-project. She joined with Beacon Hill Property Group in 2010 and began building her base of loyal tenants and landlords. Hard work and determination to succeed inevitably led Julie to the founding of her own commercial real estate company, ODELPHIA in June 2015.
Julie is known for her straight forward, to-the point negotiating skills, and also for her “old school” values of honesty and under-promising/over producing. She resides in Coconut Grove and is married to Village West developer Andy Parrish.
