Julie just did an outstanding job for us. When my sister and brother-in-law-came to town from Washington, DC, she spent a lot of time up front talking with them (and me) about what they were looking for and what areas would be desirable. She sent them many houses to look at online. Julie met with us several times to show us properties that met our criteria. She was always on time and thoroughly professional. She ultimately found the house we wanted and we made an offer which was accepted but with some highly unusual contingencies. She negotiated those on our behalf and we finally reached agreement, but it turned out our ordeal in buying the property was just beginning. Ours was a particularly difficult escrow: a short sale involving negotiations with three banks, Fannie Mae and an out-of-area broker and escrow agent. An escrow that was supposed to take two weeks wound up taking two months, through no fault of Julie's. She assertively represented our interests with all parties, doing everything humanly possible to finalize the sale, and keeping us up-to-date at all times. More than once it looked as though the deal would fall through, but Julie's diligence resurrected it each time. We don't think there is any way the escrow would have closed without her efforts. And in the end we got a nice house at a very good price. At all times Julie was honest and forthright. When she said she was going to do something she did it. She always responded in a timely manner when we had questions or concerns. She went out of her way in her treatment of us to smooth a bumpy road as much as possible. I was a tenant in the home that was listed, and the owner wanted a quick sale. Julie made it easy on the owner who lived out of state and my family who were the tenants. She was considerate and went out of her way to throughout the whole process. We started working with Julie WAY back in June of 2012. My husband I I received relocation orders from Washington, DC to Vandenberg AFB for the end of October and decided we wanted to buy a home. Julie found us a home we both loved and we entered into a contract. The house was a short sale. Long story short, it fell through and put us in a terrible situation. Julie stepped up to find us another house as soon as she could and neogiated with the sellers to get us in the home within 30 days so we weren't living in a hotel. She personally drove us around the area when we arrived in CA and showed us local highlights, etc. She has helped me find a vet, a gym, and places to eat! She has been a great point of contact here in CA where we didn't know anyone and had never even visited. I had hired Julie to do a Short Sale on our Property in Santa Maria, and she has done an outstanding job! It was one of the most difficult Short Sales that she has had to close to date due to a difficult process, which included filing numerous documents, corresponding with lenders, banks, servicing companies, and vendors on a daily basis.
