I have been a full time Realtor in the Brevard County area since 2002. I have worked with thousands of Buyer’s and Seller’s over the years, and ALWAYS practice The Golden Rule of treating others as I would want to be treated. No matter if you are selling a $30K condo, or buying a multi-million dollar mansion, I treat everyone with respect. I actually listen to what my Buyers and Sellers communicate to me, and use my skill, care and diligence to make their real estate experience as pleasant and stress-free as possible. Since I have lived in Brevard County all of my life, I have exceptional knowledge of what each city has to offer, and love to share helpful tips to Buyers that are new to the area. I am an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), and am a graduate of the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI). As a first time homebuyer, you hear all the horror stories about who to “watch-out” for. Starting out you’re pointed in many different directions when selecting a realtor and you’re never quite sure how your experience will measure up to the person who referred you or the reviews you’ve seen. Luckily for me, I was referred to Kara and she didn’t disappoint. To be factual, Kara lived up to every expectation put forth. I had a tight deadline of which I needed to be settled in my new space and I knew exactly where I wanted to be. Kara used her quick industry know-how to build a persistent rapport with the rest of my home buying team members. Her flexibility made me feel like my time was important to her. She was clear and direct with terminology and guidelines I never would’ve known to take heed to; I had a gladiator by my side. Her attention to detail was just what I needed starting out in this process of which ensured me that my decision was important to her. With Kara, I was reassured that what I foresaw could be attained in a timely manner. Overall, I felt like I was being handled by family and I couldn’t ask for a better home buying experience.

We were referred to our realtor Kara Baker through realty plus. Kara was excellent to work with, she showed us about eight homes in one day and we fell in love with one at the beach. Kara is extremely knowledgeable about the area and understands the market trends and really listens to what the buyers needs are. She is also very attentive in getting everyone in line including your own lender, title company, and inspectors, etc. She was a great negotiator when it came to dealing with the seller and got us to the finish line as promised. You really can’t go wrong with Kara from Coldwell Banker, she truly is the best!
