Kara Janus moved to Arlington Heights, Illinois from the east coast when she was just ten years old. Even at that young age, she took note immediately about how different the Midwest architectural styles were from her Baltimore neighborhood, where there were virtually no garages. She also soon noted how outstanding the park district facilities were and how there was an abundance of neighborhood parks in her new suburban Chicago hometown. So, I guess you could say, Kara has always had a passion for community and homes.
Kara received a B.A. in elementary education from Purdue University and her M.A. to become a reading specialist from Northeastern Illinois University. Graduating from both with highest honors, she values hard work and excellence. She will bring these attributes to every client and each real estate transaction she's involved in. Having taught fourth grade and serving as instructional specialist to new teachers in Wheeling Community Consolidated School District 21, Kara has a keen understanding of all the local school districts and can use that expertise to help families make informed decisions about where they are purchasing a home based on their individual needs.
