Kara Zahasky is a Minnesota girl through and through — the daughter of a carpenter who grew up studying homes from the inside out. From an early age, she was drawn to the beauty of structure, design, and the feeling of home. That lifelong love of space and movement continues to fuel her passion for helping clients confidently navigate their next chapter.
Kara helps both buyers and sellers feel seen, heard, and cared for throughout every step of the process. Known for her patient, down-to-earth vibe, design-savvy insights, and fierce client advocacy, Kara combines warmth with results. Before stepping into real estate, Kara led a multifaceted career in wellness, retail, and hospitality — developing spa brands, leading retail teams at Macy’s and Kate Spade, and managing events and restaurants. Her creative eye, warm leadership, and high-level service background are now her signature in real estate.
Kara lives in Mound with her four amazing kids — three of whom are now young adults — and their beloved pups. She’s always on the move, whether she’s setting up a fresh space, collecting seashells by the ocean, or singing along to the radio on the way to a showing, and she can't wait to meet you.
