A partner with Premier Sotheby's International Realty's South Tampa office, Karen Hegemeier is an accomplished professional with decades of industry experience and record-breaking sales. She holds the record for the highest single-family residential sale in Pinellas County which sold for $16,500,000 in 2019 and was recognized as a Top 100 agent in 2022 by Premier Sotheby's International Realty, gaining membership to their exclusive 1744 Club.
Prior to her career in real estate, Karen worked for a Fortune 100 company for 29 years, managing the southern and southwest sales divisions, and was always ranked as one of the top two producers in the division. She was a member of the national accounts team for five years, enabled a corporate relocation to Dallas, Texas, and managed the U.S. sales team.
Karen owns a small conglomerate of investment properties for over 31 years and has managed single-family homes and a condominium located throughout South Tampa and Clearwater Beach. Born in Winter Park and raised in South Tampa, Karen is extremely knowledgeable of the many communities throughout the Tampa Bay market. She is dedicated to providing her customers with the highest level of service, delivered with integrity, honesty, and genuine sincerity. She is known for going above and beyond for buyers and sellers and prides herself on thinking ahead to be proactive, instead of reactive, with any transaction.
Outside of real estate, Karen was a piano performance major at the University of Tampa and has served as the pianist at First Baptist Church of Tampa for the past 28 years. She is passionate about giving back to the community, volunteering at Metropolitan Ministries, feeding the homeless, and financially supporting children in Kenya. She enjoys spending time at the beach, traveling, and spending time with family.
