In 2002, Karen transitioned into residential real estate sales and has never looked back! Karen loves what she does. Matching people with their dream homes is a passion and she looks forward to it every day. As a daughter and granddaughter of Architects, Karen was exposed to building plans, architectural styles, colors, and patterns at an early age. Naturally, she chose a degree in art.
Karen received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design, Textile Design and, Printmaking with a minor in Marketing from The University of North Texas. She worked in textile design for several years, and at this time Karen began to purchase, remodel, and sell homes. This endeavor allowed her to gain useful knowledge when working with homebuyers, remodelers, and builders, as well as providing her with a unique understanding of which neighborhoods are transitioning and which areas should be the next up-and-coming locations.
In addition to the market knowledge and industry expertise Karen gained, she has some of the most incredible clients, many of whom Karen has worked with on multiple occasions throughout the years. Her goal is to help both buyers and sellers navigate the selling, buying, and closing process as smoothly as possible by providing high-quality service, an ability to navigate unique situations, and strong negotiation skills.
