Karen Lively

Children, charities and communities have been major themes for Karen’s life. Being born the ninth of nine children, this has played an important role with her career choices. Karen received her B.S. degree from the University of Central Arkansas and taught school for eleven years. Since marrying her husband, who works in the medical field, they have made Tyler their home for 20+ years. Her community involvement includes the blossoming of children, supporting teachers and promoting community growth. While her children attended Whitehouse ISD, Karen served in many roles with the local PTO: Hospitality Director, Box Tops Organizer and President. She was one of the charter founders of the Whitehouse ISD Education Foundation, and for three years she was the Vice President of Grants. In 2016, she served on the Whitehouse ISD Facilities Steering Committee and the Whitehouse Strong Bond PAC. Karen’s education and life experiences provides her with valuable skills that she uses daily in real estate negotiation and home-buyer/seller education. Currently, Karen volunteers at The Fostering Collective and supports other local non-profit organizations.
