Purchasing a home is one of the most important and nerve-wracking decisions that one can make. When I started planning for my first home, I was out of the country and I knew very little of what it would entail. I knew though that I needed someone with good knowledge of the process, patience, professionalism and empathy to accompany me through this great life decision! My obvious pick was Karja Carr... and I am so grateful for it.

From the start, she took into consideration my dreams and my needs. She was structured in her approach and helped me refine my search, providing me with great referrals to other service providers that matched my needs including temporary accommodation in DC during my search, a mortgage broker that was committed to a swift closure, furniture stores, etc. I found my home on the first day of our physical visit, thanks to the preparation beforehand and closed the purchase within a month.

Working with Karja was pleasantly easy. She pushed where she needed to, reminding me constantly of what I needed to get done, offering support and advise where she could, all the while not compromising on her integrity and ethics. She gave me the space to consult externally where I needed and wanted to, and to make my own mind and decision. All this to say, if you are looking to purchase or sell your property, my strongest recommendation is to go with Karja. You will not find a more dedicated and resourceful person, who is also kind and ethical.
