Kathy has worked for Century 21 since 1996, specializing in selling farm and residential real estate in west-central Illinois. She is a licensed broker and REALTOR and a Veteran Certified Agent (VCA) with the Veteran Real Estate Benefit Network. She works diligently to provide clients with comprehensive customer service throughout the buying and selling process. In addition to working in real estate, Kathy started a farm business in 2000, Heartland "Criations" Alpacas LLC. Aside from buying, selling, and showing Suri Alpacas, she sells alpaca products in a variety of locations, participates in agri-tourism, offers alpaca agistment and breeding services, teaches felting classes, and offers consulting services. Concurrently, Kathy serves as the Executive Director Kewanee Economic Development Corporation, a private, non-profit corporation, which serves as the catalyst for business attraction, retention, expansion, and succession in Kewanee, Illinois. As a leadership organization, KEDC works to enhance community assets by stimulating capital investment, promoting business diversification, and fostering community improvement to grow and expand Kewanee's prosperity and the quality of life of its residents.
Prior to working in economic development, Kathy spent 18 years working in education, both as a high school English teacher and as a high school principal. It is the melding of her experience, that best helps her to assist real estate clients with their farm and residential buying and selling needs in west-central Illinois.
