I've had the pleasure of working with Pfashema and Katherine on two transactions this year. They were my buyer's agent and helped me sell my home. I've worked with many brokers and agents in the past. Katherine and Pfashema were honestly the two most hard working, loyal and honest agents that I've ever worked with. They both truly went up and above their call of duty as agents. Sure, like any agent, they wanted me to buy and sell as fast as possible but when it came down to the actual transactions, they truly had my best interest at heart. We recently worked with Katherine to buy our first home in Falls Church. As a real estate agent, Katherine is everything you could possibly want: she is knowledgable about the market, astute about pointing out the pros/cons of each property, and exceptionally diligent about guiding us through the closing process with the lender and title company. While we had a couple of unexpected snags late in our closing process (which were beyond our or Katherine's control), Katherine was always two steps ahead. Time and again, Katherine was extremely skillful in brokering solutions that were to our liking.

More importantly, we want to sing Katherine's praises on the human level. We were very nervous about buying our first home in this crazy market. Katherine was extremely patient with us as we slowly (but surely) figured out what we wanted. She always answered our questions promptly and with grace, even if we were asking the same question for the third or fourth time. Even as we visited several dozen homes, Katherine made the house hunting process fun and we looked forward to our outings together. Over the ~4 months we worked together to find our home, Katherine was instrumental in inspiring confidence that we could in fact get this done... and we did!

Working with Pfashema and Katherine is literally the best life decision I've ever made. I had a house that I bought in 2007 which had been draining me for years with problem renters, repair costs, etc. I thought there would be no way I could sell it without losing lots of $$. They came in with contractors and turned a run-down rental into a GORGEOUS home, beautifully staged it, made local connections, and marketed it brilliantly. We had 6 offers after being on the market for 3 days (most houses in the area are on the market for 30+ days). It went for over asking and I ended up with a nice check at the end. They are seriously magic. Katherine also found us our dream home in DC 5 years ago, and it was only through her relationships and negotiation skills that we were able to get it in such a competitive market. This team is the best!

This team is amazing! My wife and I used K+P group to purchase our new home, as well to sell our condo. Buying a new home in this current market is not easy, but having K+P on our side made this experience much better, with quick tour scheduling, thorough communication with selling agents, and their extensive knowledge of various communities in the DC, MD, and northern VA area . We toured countless homes with Katherine, and genuinely enjoyed her company every step of the way! She very quickly became more than our realtor, she became our friend. It was such a joy to work with Katherine and Pfashema. I can’t imagine that there is anyone better at what they do, and they compliment each other so perfectly. They helped us sell our old house and buy a new house. For the selling, they managed significant upgrades to our house, working with a very professional crew and executing on a gorgeous vision that totally transformed the house and made it much more attractive and marketable. For the buying, they were extremely knowledgeable about the area we wanted to move to and the market, and helped us find a place we absolutely love. My experience with working with Katherine Krevor and Pfashema Faber has been nothing more than Praise and Awe! They are indeed a Dynamic Duo. My experience with them relates to the sale of a house in NW Washington DC. The house was being sold by a brother and sister, both of whom had different and serious medical conditions. Nearing the time that the house was going to settlement, both the brother and sister were hospitalized and the brother who was the administrator of the Trust was no longer to perform in that capacity so he signed over the responsibility of the Trust to me. To make this happen, the Dynamic Duo had to shuttle between two facilities to get permission for papers to be signed, the arrangements being compromised by both facilities having strict COVID protocols. The Dynamic Duo negotiated with the buyer to allow the family to stay in the home 60 days post settlement rent free because they were aware that it might take some time for the sellers to recuperate and find suitable housing. Because both were not able to move personal and family items from the home, the Dynamic Duo took on the responsibility of arranging for packing and moving the items so that the house can be turned over “broom clean” within the time frame provided by the buyer. The was a significant challenge in that the sister had a “Fort Knox” safe bolted to the floor and required a bonded locksmith to drill the door off so that the personal items could be removed. After the sister was released from the hospital, she refused to return to the home so the Dynamic Duo is looking for an apartment that the sister will be comfortable in.

Katherine and Pfashema have gone way beyond what a normal realtor does. This has been a very trying experience, but they continue to have the energy and drive to “make this happen,” to the satisfaction of all involved. They provided this service free of charge out of compassion for the family. They are very competent , professional realtors and are very good examples of what “SERVICE” means. I whole heartedly recommend them to anyone who needs the services of a realtor.

I was so impressed by the staging and their response to my questions totally unrelated to the open house. I told them about my project. They came and gave me a consult on the remodel. Boy were we so pleasantly wrong! I had the pleasure to work with both Pfashema Faber & Katherine Krevor. Pfashema was very patient, knowledgeable and organized. She compiled a search for me to use to look at houses prior to us going out. She observed my interest and came up with additional houses to visit in route. She asked great probing questions to get a feel of the whole house which included neighborhood. Ms. Faber stayed on top of the Buyer and Lender when need be. She took initiative and had a great team of people who could provided additional advice regarding different aspects of the house like the roof. She actually cared and didn’t rush my process but stayed on top of deadlines. Pfashema was able to explain the financial, maintenance and operational pieces of the process. This was extremely helpful because I had lots of questions, even after closing. This reassured me that I was in great hands.
I used a program and although my closing was pushed back 4 times she still made sure we had everything done on our part. Her partner Katherine stepped due to the many closing date changes. There was no lapse in time because Katherine was already up to date with everything. She made me feel comfortable knowing that she was already aware of my journey. We could not be happier with our experience working with Katherine and Pfashema. We had three real estate transactions (sold two properties and bought a third) within 45 days in 2019, and Katherine and Pfashema were with us every step of the way. They staged our properties beautifully, keeping to our tight budget, and had impeccable taste and a real instinct for anticipating who the buyer would be for each of the properties (and staging accordingly). Because we were handling three transactions in a short period of time, we had very aggressive timelines and they worked hard to ensure that we stayed within them, making sure that we weren't left in the lurch, financially. We saw a very large number of properties in a very short time frame, due to the nature of the market, and Katherine was endlessly patient, showing up early in the morning, late at night, and providing a wealth of insight and knowledge (as well as referrals to plumbers, inspectors, building contractors, etc). They were extremely proactive in their advice and knowledge, reaching out to listing and buying agents, providing extensive comps, resale insights, and gauged the market perfectly in terms of selling at the right price point. When our first buyer's contract fell through on one of the properties, they had proactively established a waitlist of secondary buyers so that the property did not even have to be relisted, and we were back on track within two business days. We cannot say enough good things about working with them. Katherine and Pfashema treat your properties, financial security, and priorities as if they are their own, which cannot be said for many other agents in the business.
