About Kathy

After more than 20 years in a middle school language arts classroom, there is not much that Kathy cannot manage! In 2017 she decided to put down the red pen and shift her focus from working with students and their writing plans to working with families and their house plans. Her years as a teacher, along with her previous careers in banking and non-profit, have equipped her with a wide range of knowledge, experience, and skills that she uses daily to help her clients buy and sell residential properties. Because Kathy is organized and meticulous, she can manage the negotiations and fine points of the transaction so that clients can enjoy an exciting, stress-free home-buying or home-selling experience.

Kathy grew up in Mountain Brook and spent her childhood years in and around various parts of Birmingham and is familiar with this area. After college, her and her husband Beau decided to make Birmingham their home and raise their two boys here. Now that they are empty-nesters, Beau and her still live in Mountain Brook with their two basset hounds, Duke and Rosie.
