Kathy Ghirardini

Kathy is an Atlanta native who grew up in a real estate family with a residential builder and developer father and a real estate agent mother. Kathy graduated from The Lovett School in 1984 and Auburn University in 1988, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in Marketing.

For 15 years, Kathy used her marketing and client service skills in various marketing and sales positions in the technology industry. She spent eight years at home raising her two sons and then joined Dorsey Alston in 2011, initially starting as a partner with her mother, Vicki Crawford. Kathy had the unique opportunity of being mentored by her mother, one of Atlanta’s most respected and knowledgeable real estate agents. Kathy’s many years in client-focused roles, in addition to her mentorship with her mother, taught her the value and importance of exceptional customer service, attention to detail and integrity. Kathy knows that buying or selling a home can be a very challenging and sometimes emotional process for people. She is very honest in her approach with her clients, keeping them informed and properly setting their expectations throughout the home buying and/or selling process.

Kathy lives in the Chastain Park neighborhood with her husband and two sons.
