Kathy has been a resident of Woodbridge, Virginia since 1972, having moved to the area as a result of my father’s military service. Kathy is a proud graduate of Woodbridge Senior High School (Class of ’76). Kathy attended Northern Virginia Community College where she intended to receive my AA in accounting; however, a brief marriage intervened!
Kathy started her business career as an Executive Secretary to the Senior Vice President of Operations at American Security Bank, long since merged with another bank. From there, Kathy ran away to Florida and worked briefly for a real estate development firm. Having realized that she had made a huge mistake, Kathy returned to Northern Virginia and decided she needed to settle down and become a productive member of society. Kathy began working as a Legal Secretary to a Senior Partner, David Granger, at the law firm of Clifford & Warnke. When Clifford & Warnke dissolved, Mr. Granger and Kathy opened a two-man operation, where she wore every hat imaginable – from research, budgeting, and accounting to the routine, such as typing, and answering phones. Mr. Granger and Kathy enjoyed a 23-year relationship that came to an end only because of his retirement.
Kathy began her career as a realtor with Weichert, Realtors in 1998 in the Woodbridge, Virginia office. In her second year as a realtor, Kathy became a member of Weichert’s Million Dollar Club. Each year thereafter Kathy advanced to the next club level through hard work and dedication to her clients; that dedication has earned her many referrals. Kathy is a member in good standing of the Prince William Association of Realtors.
