Katie Sylstra

Katie Sylstra was born and raised in Poquoson, Virginia with her brother, Will, and two parents who both worked as REALTORS®. A 2003 graduate of Virginia Tech, Katie began her career in Northern Virginia managing condominium associations and apartment communities.

Upon returning to the Hampton Roads area, she met her now husband, Mike. The two married in Jamaica. Katie continued to work managing condominium associations in the Hampton Roads area before switching gears to real estate.

Since 2011, Katie has served as President of her homeowner's association, Cape Henry Villas. She is an active member of Christ Community Church. Katie lives in the Alanton subdivision of Virginia Beach with her husband and two children, Grace and Colbourn. Katie enjoys the beach, exercising at Inlet Fitness, and her neighborhood book club. Most importantly, Katie enjoys quality time with her family and friends.
