Kay Rasmus

Kay Rasmus defines the word integrity. She treats all clients with the utmost respect, represents a seller or buyer in the best possible light and is meticulous to complete the sales transaction. Kay realized a long time ago that the path to success was to focus on not just her individual goals but to mentor fellow REALTORS in the field. She has great admiration for those real estate agents who have paved the path before her. She was mentored by former Northwest Ohio REALTORS Distinguished Service award recipient, Alan Robertson, for many years and now pays it forward by mentoring and teaming up with Aimee Dusseau-Sandvik also licensed with the Danberry Company.

Kay's drive to get the job done for her clients is impressive. Her direct, honest approach to solidifying the deal is praiseworthy. Kay makes your number one goal her number one goal. She has been a REALTOR for nearly two decades. She earned her real estate degree from the Hondros College of Business. Before becoming a REALTOR, Kay was a Regional Vice President for a long-term care pharmacy. Kay's experience in pharmaceutical sales helped greatly when she transitioned over to the real estate industry. Her experience sharpened both her listening and negotiation skills equipping her to help any buyer whether it was for the first time or helping a seasoned homeowner.

She graduated from Delphos St. John's High School and went on to the University of Toledo where she earned her bachelor's degree in Marketing. Kay is a member of the Northwest Ohio REALTORS® (NOR), Ohio REALTOR® and National Association of REALTORS®. She has been a recipient of the NOR and Ohio REALTORS President's Sales Club and the Danberry President's Sales Club consistently for the past ten years. She continues to be in the top tier of production amongst her real estate companions.

Kay is a vital part of the locally owned brokerage firm, The Danberry Company, where she is one of over 370 real estate professionals providing customized, boutique service to area residents. The firm achieved 5,515 transactions in addition to obtaining $1,115,162,170 in sales volume according to Real Trends.

Kay's most valued title is that of Mom and Grammy. She is the proud Mom to daughter Alison (David) and son Markus (Brooke). Kay is blessed with four beautiful grandchildren, and she loves spending time with them out on the slopes or at the park. Kay currently gives back to the community by actively participating in the Danberry Treasure Chest charity efforts. In the past, she has helped raise $1.4 million in conjunction with her fellow Danberry REALTORS to aid families with a critically ill child.
