North Carolina born and raised, I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and have lived in the Raleigh area for 28 years, the last 12 in neighboring Apex.

Through the years, I have found that my natural inclination is to help others. I volunteer with elderly and assist with their home projects, work with a faith-based car ministry, and support nonprofit organizations, which empower vulnerable children around the world to become self-reliant.
