Kelly Curran has now represented me in the process of both Selling and Purchasing a home with acreage and throughout each transaction she has been there for literally any need that could arise. After selling my home through kelly and renting for a few months, I decided to get back on the hunt for a home to purchase, but was worried about the cost of breaking my lease agreement... Kelly quickly put those worries aside by offering and honoring a deal that would ensure any of those expenses would be covered by her, thus giving me the freedom to get serious about buying and not be overly concerned with timing. So I gave Kelly my detailed wish list of price range, location, house size, and acreage amount.. and she came back with some great options and one almost perfect one! Of course the almost perfect option was out of my price range... But Kelly remained optimistic and was able to negotiate strongly on my behalf and through a cple months of back and forth we had an agreement on MY ideal horse country home! One more problem! As luck would have it I had to leave town on a business trip during the entire due diligence period... This is where Kelly really went above and beyond showing her true professionalism and worth as a real estate agent!! She did EVERYTHING from scheduling and coordinating inspections to showing up at the house to open and wait there until the work was accomplished and then imediatly passing along pertinent information to me. Not many people I would trust with that responsibility... but with Kelly Curran as my Agent I never had any doubts!

Kelly has an excellent knowledge of the local area, the best school districts, crime, rental markets and values, etc., etc., and more etc. Regardless of what price range your looking in, she is very responsive and excels at finding you the exact home your looking for. I Myself burned though 6 different area realtors before Kelly was recommended to me. She displayed super responsiveness and a genuine interest in my needs, rather than the indifference and unreturned inquires I made with other realtors. Kelly was a pleasure to work with! She sold our house in a total of 3 months and 3 weeks, from listing to actual closing date! That has to be a record! Having lived in Moore county for 8 years, the time finally came to sell our home and move out of state. As is typical with the military we weren't given a great deal of notice. Kelly worked hard to market and sell our home. She was very attuned to what buyers were looking for and did a great job sending buyers and other agents to consider our home. Our house was shown constantly and it was never an inconvenience. She did not suggest over inflating our initial asking price which I believe was smart and practical. It saved time for all involved and got us what we wanted in the end. I will most definitely refer and recommend Kelly Curran to friends moving to or from the Moore County area!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Kelly last spring when we decided to put our home on the market for sale. Kelly responded immediately and we were impressed with her knowledge of the current and projected area housing market. This particular home was a rental property and we lived out of state so Kelly's expertise was most welcome. She was able to assist us and accomodate our renters with minimal disruption while they were still living in our home. She proved to be a wonderful advocate for our home and the community that we lived in. Her marketing strategy was strong and thorough both online and through local real estate agent blasts. After approximately 2 weeks on the market, we received our first purchase offer. Kelly was wonderful in walking us through the process. Again, living outside of North Carolina made this process challenging for all and we greatly appreciated Kelly's regular communications with us throughout the selling period. Kelly was also able to guide us and the buyers to an agreeable selling price when our home appraisal changed our original asking price. When some repairs were required, Kelly contacted her contractor who was able to assist us in completing the tasks prior to closing. Kelly attended the closing and signing with us and continued to answer questions that we had for the final contract. She went above and beyond what would be expected of an agent and did so quickly and competently. Kelly is exactly what we needed in an agent and would recommend her to anyone we know in the area in need of a real estate professional.

We first contacted Kelly through an online listing that looked interesting to us. That listing was no longer available, but Kelly was eager to work with us to determine exactly what we wanted and got us in contact with a very capable builder who was able to build us a brand new house in the location that we wanted within our desired budget. As first-time home-buyers the building process initially seemed a little intimidating, but Kelly explained everything to us very well and after our first few meetings with her we were very comfortable with the process. Kelly communicated to us through her iPhone and was always answering texts, calls, and emails immediately. It was not uncommon for us to send her a question and receive a response only minutes later. She was always ready to meet us at the realty office, builders office, build site, and attorney's office - often on short notice. My wife and I are both in the military and we had some timeline issues because of deployments and field exercises. Kelly worked tirelessly to make sure that we were getting information quickly and efficiently, even when we were not in the country. She was also instrumental in working through the finance process with us. Our initial lender proved to be incompetent, and she helped us work through some of those issues and even helped us find a lender that was able to better cater to our desires. We definitely felt like we had an advocate on our behalf with Kelly. She was very helpful in getting things worked out between us and the builder, especially when we had to make changes to the build plans or the timeline for closing. With Kelly working with us I feel that we were able to build and purchase a house that is exactly what we wanted. Because of her knowledge in the field, I feel like the house that we built and purchased was a solid investment that will benefit us in the future and - probably more importantly - be the perfect home for our family.

Kelly is a great realtor who went above and beyond for our family. She was very flexible and worked with the limited time we had available for coming to the area to look at homes and sign paperwork. She even drove an hour- more than once- to come to us! She showed knowledge of the Sandhills area, and was able to answer all of our questions and show us many homes. She found us the perfect home and we could not be happier with our experience. On moving day she spent the day with us (at the dog park and showing us around town) while we waited for the go ahead to get the keys and move in. Knowing that we had limited time with our moving van, she arranged for a moving company to come help at her expense. Kelly even showed up later that evening with her own family members to empty the full trash can left by the previous owners. We highly recommend her and will definitely use her in the future to sell and/or buy!!

I had an awesome experience with Kelly searching for my first home! She is AMAZING! We found a house in a couple weeks, and she would not let me overpay! We went on daily marathons looking at houses and then revisited my top choices even 3 or 4 times! She was so flexible, patient, and responded promptly. I had a million questions-and she answered them ALL! If she didn't know the answer, she would find out and get back to me. She constantly kept me updated, and she is extremely knowledgeable of the Pinehurst area and in property investment. She negotiated hard for me, and I have to say, I had so much FUN with her! She is very personable! My only negative experience, which does not reflect on Kelly Curran personally, but rather on Keller Williams Realty, was using someone on their preferred vendors list. I went with their preferred vendor Payne Home Inspections and was extremely displeased, not only with the service and responsiveness in receiving the report, but also with the final inspection report in which some major issues were missed. I have also come to find out that his business is being sued. He never responded to many attempts for a refund. I should have never paid him. I should have known better, he only had one review on AngiesList (which was an A in 2012). Why would Keller Williams recommend him? Is it because his family develops real estate? I see the Keller Williams website has now changed their preferred vendor for home inspection services to another company-maybe after my bad experience? I know Kelly sent out an email to all the KW Realtors about our negative experience with Payne Inspections, and she apologized profusely. Its too bad that I had to experience that negative situation and waste $350. On the other hand, I also used their preferred vendor for closing services, and I was very happy. (But that is what I would expect from using a preferred vendor from Keller Williams Realty-to be happy with their preferred vendor.) I recommend to just do your own research on vendors. Besides the home inspection, everything went smooth and in my favor. Thanks Kelly!
