Kelly Weber has been a Lowcountry resident for over thirty years after her move in 1982 to Ridgeland, South Carolina from Lum, Michigan.
Kelly started her selling career in Charlotte, NC in financial products after graduation from Winthrop University in 1990. Kelly returned to the Lowcountry in 2000 when her son, Christian, was born to be close to his grandparents. Kelly’s move back to the Lowcountry revealed an opportunity for an untapped investment vehicle in a marketplace where some residents were land rich and cash poor. Kelly obtained her real estate license with the intention of selling self-directed IRAs to land owners.
As the Bluffton real estate market was heating up in Bluffton in the early 2000s on that newly paved road that has become Buckwalter Parkway, Kelly’s focus shifted to full time real estate sales with a local new home builder. Kelly has been selling new homes from Brunswick to Beaufort for national and local production builders in traditional and active adult communities over the last thirteen years.
Kelly brings years of local expertise about the area to every part of the home buying experience as a full time resident and local Realtor. For new home buyers, Kelly knows the intricacies of the home building process and how to successfully navigate through the contract to closing process with a new home builder. Kelly’s mission is to continually sharpen her marketing, social media engagement, negotiation and communication skills to provide buyers and sellers their best home buying and selling experience.
Kelly is a high school graduate of Thomas Heyward Academy in Ridgeland, SC. Following high school, Kelly attended Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications. Kelly is still a very active Delta Zeta alumni and was Vice President of Rush as an undergraduate. Kelly headed back to school again in 2012 to earn her Master’s Degree in Business with a concentration in commercial real estate, from Marylhurst University in Portland, Oregon in 2014.
Kelly is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Hilton Head Area Association of Realtors, and the Hilton Head MLS.
Kelly is a full time Bluffton resident living in May River Plantation with her son Christian, their two dogs Cooper and Pixie, and Thunder Jack the cat. Kelly and Christian are members of the Civil Air Patrol Lowcountry Composite Squadron on Hilton Head, which is an auxiliary program of the U.S. Air Force. Kelly makes the most of her free time by improving her sailing skills, paddle boarding, kayaking, inline skating, traveling to destinations unknown, and indulging in the ultimate guilty pleasure of a few minutes of mindless relaxation on our beautiful beaches!
