In 2002, a few months before he was married, Kelvin Kam realized he needed to find a profession that allowed for a flexible work schedule. He attended a real estate investment seminar and within a couple of years, purchased close to fifty properties in five different states. During the real estate crash, he assisted clients with acquiring properties at the foreclosure auctions and managed the renovations for them. Currently, he participates in multiple development projects ranging from interior remodels, garage additions, building expansions, new construction for single family, condominiums, and mixed used buildings. As he was growing his business, he saw an opportunity to create a real estate company that could set a new standard in the industry. He identified the needs of an agent and understood the support a client expects and made that the mission of our company. At Sequoia, they provide a full support team for their agents to assist with their tasks but more importantly, to ensure that they always meet their clients’ needs. They also have an extensive marketing plan, which includes complimentary design and staging services to maximize the sales price for sellers. Real estate has become a big part of Kelvin’s life and he is looking forward to the journey ahead. There will always be challenges, opportunities to gain experience, and ways to be more innovative. But since he is blessed with the support from his family, friends, colleagues, and clients, he has the energy and confidence to continually strive to find new ways to assist his agents with their business and to ultimately provide the best service possible to our clients.
