Kenn Blagburn at DC Real Property has filled 14 units at our building over the past year or so, and he is now the exclusive listing agent for our large, diverse-use, commercial office/work space/retail/studio building in Washington DC. Kenn has wonderful sources for finding tenants and handles all aspects of showing and signing on new people. I could not ask for a more reliable, pleasant, or knowledgeable leasing agent.

Tenants in particular have enjoyed working with him, as have I as the owner and our on-site manager.

Kenn is always readily available for consultation, and works closely with the building whenever a vacancy arises, quickly getting units to market for showing. I thoroughly recommend him for any leasing needs.

Kenn helped us buy our first home and was a great agent for us. He has an in-depth knowledge of the city and the process. We had some major obstacles through the offer and closing process, and Kenn guided us through and went to bat for us when things got really tough. He’s a great asset to have by your side when the rubber meets the road. Our only part that was less than ideal was there were times where communication was not as regular as we would have liked. Part of this was learning Kenn’s style and preferred means of communicating, but part of this was that a lot of the work he was doing behind the scenes we didn’t know about or didn’t see. This is definitely something to be clear about upfront and set your and his expectations early. Overall he was great, and we would definitely recommend Kenn!

The most expensive purchase of your life!

What you need is a professional who understands real estate from every angle. You do not need someone who is new and all they know is from their 2 week training course.

Kenn knows the financial, legal, construction and relationship part of this business beyond the skills of an average real estate agent. His skills are exceptional. For someone so learned you would expect them to be very old school but he is young, tech savvy and very personable.

Kenn Blagburn is not just a great real estate broker who makes things happen, he forms relationships with his clients and he is dedicated to being a true partner that genuinely cares about YOU. Our situation was a unique one but I think it shows a lot about how Kenn operates, his professionalism, and what’s important to him.

We met Kenn several years ago when we were thinking about selling vs. renting our home in Bloomingdale. He’s a Washington D.C. native with extensive knowledge about the city’s unique neighborhoods and surrounding areas. As a Bloomingdale resident himself, he gave us very thorough advice. His thoughtful insight helped guide us and we chose not to sell our property at that time. This obviously meant no business for Kenn but his focus was on us - not him and his possible commission. Over the years, Kenn has always been available and very helpful as we tried to navigate various decisions related to our home. He never asked for anything in return. To make a long story short, we’ve talked to many realtors and appreciated their different perspectives but Kenn was always the standout of the bunch. We decided to sell during the pandemic and because of other factors related to the house, it had the potential to be an overwhelming process but Kenn made sure that we had a very smooth experience from beginning to end. When we listed our home, Kenn locked in our buyers within a few days! We never even had an open house. And the icing on the cake: we went to escrow in 14 days. Wow.

Kenn is amazing! But it’s not just because he sold our home in record time... he took care of us and made us feel like we were his ONLY clients in the world. He was always dependable, honest and optimistic. We look back and realize that Kenn has been looking out for us for YEARS, long before he officially listed our home. To find a professional who does business like this is rare - Kenn Blagburn is very special.

Kenn has been a fantastic real estate broker, he helped me buy my first house in DC in 2009 and navigate a stressful complicated HSA Renovation loan process for a fixer upper and partial rental property. Kenn took me to see many, MANY houses - in neighborhoods that were not easy to park in, and slightly dodgy at the time (it was all that I could afford)!
