Kenn Ellis the managing broker here at Century 21 Sandcastle Realty in Aptos, California. Though his office is in Aptos, he helps buy and sell Real Estate all over Santa Cruz County and beyond. He’s always done a tremendous amount of business in Scotts Valley where he lives and raises his family.
A California native, he was born in southern California but moved to a little town in the Central Valley called Dos Palos where he grew up. His senior year in high school he was voted by his classmates "Most Likely To Succeed", something he’s still very proud of. After high school he graduated from CSU Stanislaus with a bachelor’s degree in Business. Soon after his college graduation he got a job as an assistant manager at a F.W. Woolworths store in Oroville California. Eventually he became the general manager of the Woolworths store in Oxnard California, a job he held until Woolworths began closing their doors. Once his store closed, he relocated to Santa Cruz where he decided to pursue a career in Real Estate by joining Century 21 Lad Realty (now Sandcastle). He fell in love with the Century 21 system back in 1994 and twenty-five years later he still works at the same office, though now he’s the Managing Broker.
He feels one of his biggest assets to his clients is that he’s lived all over Santa Cruz County and is intimately familiar with many different areas.
Kenneth been married to his wonderful wife Christine since 1997. He met her the very first day of his freshman year in college if you can believe that. They have three children, sons Logan, Matthew, and their daughter Anna. Logan joined the Marine Corps within days of his high school graduation and was deployed in the Philippines as well as Iraq during his tenure. Those were very scary years for him, but he made it home safe and has turned into the type of son, husband, and father he has always hoped he would, he couldn't be prouder of Logan, His daughter Anna is a graduate of Scotts Valley High School and is currently enrolled in Cabrillo College while she works just about full time at the Buttery bakery in Santa Cruz. Matt is a senior at Scotts Valley High School.
As Kenneth mentioned, he has been selling Real Estate here in Santa Cruz County since 1994 and has sold property in all areas of their county as well as Santa Clara, San Benito, and Monterey Counties. He loves working with sellers, but his absolute favorite type of clients is the first-time home buyers, as they are always so excited and nervous about their first big purchase.
