Luxury Mountain Real Estate Advisor | Highlands NC
Keri Bateman has been active in real estate since 1987, first licensed in Washington State and later in Tennessee in 2003, where she rebuilt and expanded her business in a new market. With nearly four decades of experience across multiple market cycles, she brings long-term perspective and disciplined judgment to every transaction.
Today, Keri specializes in luxury mountain real estate and new construction advisory in the Highlands–Cashiers Plateau of Western North Carolina. Her focus is not simply on buying or selling property, but on aligning buyers with the right builder, evaluating land properly before construction begins, and ensuring that vision, terrain, engineering, and execution are coordinated from the outset.
High-elevation markets require a different level of insight. Slope, drainage, rock excavation, architectural standards, and builder capability all influence outcome. Keri’s role is to guide clients through those decisions with clarity and precision.
She believes that longevity in real estate requires continuous education, daily market analysis, and adaptability. Having navigated multiple market shifts since the late 1980s, she understands that resilience comes from preparation, not reaction.
In addition to serving buyers and sellers, Keri has spent years mentoring and training other agents. Teaching remains a core passion, and she continues to guide professionals in strategic positioning, market interpretation, and long-term business sustainability.
Her work today centers on thoughtful advisory service, long-term client relationships, and pairing the right people with the right opportunities in Western North Carolina’s most desirable mountain communities.
