Kim is incredible. She not only helped us find the perfect home, but made selling our old home almost effortless. She went above and beyond, including telling us what needed to be updated or repaired and helped facilitate those changes. She uses digital documentation, which makes it incredibly easy to work with a busy schedule, but also provides physical copies of all documents for safe recordkeeping. Kim is very professional, but very down-to-earth, which is a very comforting combination. She took an incredibly stressful life event and made it as painless as possible, and for that we cannot recommend her enough.

Purchasing our first home together was a scary notion, but Kim took care of everything to ease our minds. We found a home online that we wanted to see. Contacted Kim to do a walkthrough. Took a day or two to decide what we wanted to do. Kim did not pressure us in any way. Decided we wanted to make an offer but weren't sure how the process worked. Kim took care of everything, even guided us to a wonderful finance company to get our loan. Would recommend Kim to anyone buying or selling a home!

Kim Byrd was so helpful each step of this process. If I texted her at 7 in the morning or 10 at night, she answered my questions. If she didn't know the answer, she found the answer. She made us feel like she was our friend not just a realtor. She didn't try to sell a house that might make her more money, she looked for what she knew we wanted. She is fabulous. The worst part of finding a house to buy was that we weren't working with her anymore.

We absolutely loved Kim. She is very professional, but has a charm that makes you feel like you've know her for years. As first time homeowners, that level of comfort was something we definitely needed. There were so many things we did not anticipate about the complications of home shopping, but she was with us every step of the way. Whether she was talking us off the ledge of a rash decision or encouraging us when options didn't pan out well, she kept us moving forward; not only with her personality, but with her knowledge of the market and the process. Anytime there was a bump in the road, she was able to help us make decisions by explaining what was happening and how it could affect us in a way that we understood and that made us feel confident in the choices we made.

When the house we would eventually own hit the market, she was able to show it and talk us through the decision making process very quickly, which gave us the edge to make the right offer before anyone else. The home buying process was surprisingly simple. Anytime a new document was needed, Kim would email it to us with a brief but descriptive message of what the document was for that we could quickly sign online and send back. She was also able to help us with all of the external aspects of the process, such as the inspection and recommending a mortgage broker since we didn't have one. At the end of the process, she gave the documents to us in a well organized binder with spaces already made to keep up with home repairs and improvements to make our lives easier, even after she had finished her job.
We are so happy that we decided to go with Kim. She didn't make us feel like we were buying a house; she made it feel like we were buying a home, and that's why we cannot recommend her enough.
