Kim is a Chicago native and has been a real estate agent since 1997. Her real estate education began while she was a teenager. Kim’s mother, an architect, developed a small condominium project in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. Kim functioned as architect, developer and construction manager. Kim and her sister helped with the open houses each weekend. This was in the late 1970's when interest rates were in the high teens, it was a tough market, but they prevailed. Kim feels it was a great education at such an early age.
Kim enjoys working with a broad range of clients - from first time buyers to sophisticated sellers - and she feels the variety is energizing. Each client is unique, just as every property is unique. She believes her talent is in finding the perfect match between buyer and seller.
Kim previously worked in educational administration. She is organized, methodical, and thorough, yet keeps a creative edge. Kim has a sincere desire to inform and educate her clients about marketplace trends, neighborhoods and specific properties. An educated client makes more informed decisions during what she says can be a very emotional process. When Kim and her husband renovated a 4-unit apartment building, she got a great education about costs and issues in rehabbing which she at once shared with her clients considering a similar investment.
Kim loves what she does, and her enthusiasm is obvious. So many of her friends became her clients, and many of her clients have become friends. She lets them know she has their best interests in mind, and they trust her. that's one of the best parts of Kim’s job and a great gift.
