Kim graduated from University of Michigan with a degree in Sport Management, with her eye on brand marketing for an iconic sport brand. Her career began in Chicago, where she was hired to be an Account Executive at Leo Burnett in Chicago. She loved the client management aspect of her job, and she was driven by smart, strategic creative work. In moving to Columbus in 2002, Kim transitioned into real estate by directing sales and marketing for real estate developers focused on downtown living. From there, she received her real estate license in 2010, and never looked back.
Kim loves working with clients - that is the consistent thread through her entire career - great client management. There are many elements to this that Kim enjoys - she likes being a creative problem solver; she likes providing her clients with the information they need to make decisions; she likes to create a sense of calm in what can often be an emotional, stressful time in life. She also loves the psychology that is an integral part of this business - she believes you have to be a great listener to be successful in this industry. Kim likes to listen to her clients and hear what they hope to achieve, and she does her best to make that happen.
After spending 6 years downtown, her husband and her made the move to Upper Arlington in 2010. Kim’s husband was born and raised in UA, and they knew that is where they wanted to raise their own kids. UA is a wonderful community - great location, wonderful schools, and amazing people. She feels lucky to be raising her family in such a great community.
"Family time" and "me time" are key for Kim- when she gets quality time with her family, there is nothing better. Watching their sporting events, fun vacations, even just the wonderful little moments that fill the day (like homework and bedtime stories) - those are the things that drive Kim to be a better person and a better mom. But let's be honest - in order for Kim to be present for them, she needs to take care of herself. Kim loves working out, be it HIIT training, swimming, or yoga - she loves a good workout. Photography is another passion of Kim’s. When she gets these little outlets for her, it helps her to be more present in her family and work life.
