Kim first came to Austin in 1986. Since that time, this town has held her heart. Kim is a graduate of UT Austin with a BBA in Finance- GO HORNS! However, instead of heading to Wall Street as planned, she chose the path less traveled, venturing to Europe for 5 years. She began in London as an Executive Assistant in the City and finished her European life as a ski instructor in Kitzbuhel, Austria. During her winters as a ski instructor, she built an amazing clientele, and some of her guests included Jordanian princesses, Sheiks, and Allen Behr the New York Times travel writer. Through her experiences in Austria, she learned to quickly build trust with her discerning clients as their guide, trainer, and friend.
After Kim’s return to the USA, she joined an upstart wine distribution business founded by her family, and from its humble beginnings, she built this company into the 3rd largest wine wholesale house in Alabama. Over the years, it took perseverance and grit to grow this business, but Kim’s enterprising spirit never failed. Her years at the helm of this business helped her to develop strong negotiation and financial skills and allowed her to build life-long relationships with her employees, suppliers, and customers. As a result of being involved in this industry, she has a real love for wine and food.
