This review is long overdue but it’s about time I finally get to writing it… my husband and I have moved around the Bay Area over the last several years and during this time we have purchased three homes and also sold two homes with Kimani. I have come to know him very well and can speak to his professionalism, hard work, and dedication to providing the very best for his clients. He really truly looks out for your best interest and it’s such a refreshing quality that you rarely find nowadays.

For our initial home purchase together, I was actually a first time buyer - curious about the market but not really sure if I was ready to jump in. I didn’t really know what I wanted but Kimani had the patience of a saint until we found a townhome that I liked and held my hand the ENTIRE way, working around my schedule, explaining all the nuances and legal jargon that I didn’t understand and even finding a lender to help us get a mortgage without paying private mortgage insurance (PMI) since we were only able to put about 10% down (not the standard 20% that you normally need as a down payment to avoid PMI). He never pressured or tried to persuade us to put offers on properties that we weren’t comfortable with or that would have yielded him a higher commission. He was never too busy to answer our questions.

When we decided to sell our townhouse and get a single family house and then later on purchase a another house as our family continued to grow, I knew exactly who I needed to call to handle everything and that was Kimani. He was invested in helping us find the right home, not because it’s his job but because he actually cared and as a result we not only have our go-to realtor but someone who I now consider also a close friend.

In less than a couple weeks, he was able to find a home that checked all our boxes and truly hustled to get our offer not just delivered, but accepted --truly amazing considering the market in our area (previously, working with another agent, we had spent a year looking and having our offers rejected multiple times)!
